Over the Big Top is a community concert and and circus stage show featuring Rocky and the Continentals, Nash Abrahams (from the hit TV show Little Big Shots”), and an international circus cast (including Ben Christensen). This show will be performed in Canton, MI at Connection Church on September 10th. Concert at 6:00, Circus at 7:00. “I’m excited to share the stage with such great talent. My dad, Randy Christensen is the former president of the World Clown Association and I always love performing with him. He will be here for the show. Since he lives in Minnesota and I live in Michigan we do not get to perform together as much as we used to. Now I really cherish the opportunity!” -Ben Christensen Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for kids or $40 for families. They can be purchased at www.connectionchurch.info

This October (exact date TBA) we will be debuting a new work. “Paul’s 1st Missionary Journey.” This is a table top puppetry show that takes place entirely on top of a piano! Featuring an original musical score, original script (well, as original as an adaptation from Acts 13-14 can be), and an original puppet made just for this show (see the first prototype below). This show is a collaboration between Ben Christensen (writer), Christine Christensen (performer), Jeff McCullough (JumpStart3), and Laura Strait (seamstress), with additional help from Master Arts Theater. There have already been some costs associated with the creation of this new show. So we have started a crowdfunding campaign through gofundme. Visit www.gofundme.com/22j67378 for more information on the project and to give.
