Can you believe it’s been 10 years already!  We certainly have trouble believing it ourselves.  Here’s a little video with pictures from the last 10 years.

This October (exact date TBA) we will be debuting a new work.  “Paul’s 1st Missionary Journey.” This is a table top puppetry show that takes place entirely on top of a piano!  Featuring an original musical score, original script (well, as original as an adaptation from Acts 13-14 can be), and an original puppet made just for this show (see the first prototype below). This show is a collaboration between Ben Christensen (writer), Christine Christensen (performer), Jeff McCullough (JumpStart3), and Laura Strait (seamstress), with additional help from Master Arts Theater. There have already been some costs associated with the creation of this new show.  So we have started a crowdfunding campaign through gofundme.  Visit for more information on the project and to give.

Hey y’all, I’m excited about a new collaborative project that we are working on. The goal: Create a table top puppet show depicting Paul’s first missionary journey.  A show performed completely on top of a piano, complete with original score. The team: Joining BenComedy’s Ben and Christine to help with the creation of an original puppet is local Grand Rapids, MI friend and seamstress Laura Strait.  Helping with the music, Jeff McCullough, “musissionary” from JumpStart3.  Additional help with script by Jeff Smith from Salt and Light Ministries. This show is a dramatic retelling of Paul’s first missionary journey as adapted directly from Acts 13 and 14. Keep an eye out for more info here at and on our facebook fanpage.
