The Puppet Extravaganza II is a collaborative puppet show featuring West Michigan artists brought together by a love of the art of puppetry and a desire to share the art with others.  The show contains a wide variety of puppets including marionettes, hand-puppetry, and even interactive puppetry done by volunteers with mops and brooms.  The show does tour and is currently talking with the Kent District Library System about using puppets to entertain and encourage young readers.

The upcoming show at Master Arts Theatre at 11:00 am on October 24th has four different groups from West Michigan on stage. For tickets you can call the Master Arts Office at 616-455-1001.

Ben Christensen – Ben is a full time professional funny-man who has performed on Princess Cruise Lines.  He uses puppetry as a medium to interact with his audience and to get them involved in learning.  More info on Ben at www.bencomedy.com
